Ravi Shah, MD

Ravi Shah, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at HMS and a member of the heart failure/transplant section at MGH. He is a clinical-translational scientist focusing on the intersection between cardiometabolic disease, prevention, and heart failure. His major research interests have encompassed studies of epigenetic mediators of cardiometabolic disease (focused on non-coding RNA in heart failure and metabolism) and large-scale metabolite profiling in human cohort studies. His studies involve small human deep phenotyping as well as large epidemiological cohort studies and validations in small animal and cellular studies.
