Research Fellow
Dominic graduated in medicine ranked first in his class from the University of Galway, Ireland, in 2023. During his medical degree he completed an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree in anatomy in 2019, graduating with first class honors. He completed an academic internship in University Hospital Galway, during which time he also pursued a Master of Science Degree in Preventive Cardiology at the University of Galway in 2024, graduating first in his class. He then undertook Basic Specialty Training in General Medicine in University Hospital Galway, Ireland and Portiuncula University Hospital, Ireland. During this time, he was appointed lead Non-Consultant Hospital Doctor in Portiuncula University Hospital in 2024. He was awarded the position of an honorary clinical fellow at the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences in the University of Galway in 2025.
His research interests include heart failure and the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
