Emily received her PhD in Human Genetics and Genomics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as an NIH F31 fellow, where she investigated molecular mechanisms driving aortic aneurysm in hereditary connective tissue disorders. She is now a postdoc in the Lindsay and Natarajan labs, studying the genetic and cellular mechanisms underlying arterial fragility and dissection.
