Ling Xiao

Instructor in Investigation

Ling is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Investigator in the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she decodes the genetic and molecular roots of atrial fibrillation and heart failure. Her research combines functional genomics, stem cell models, and large-scale human genetics, with an emerging computational program applying machine learning to large-scale functional genomic screens to predict new druggable targets for heart disease. She serves as an NIH-funded principal investigator and mentors the next generation of scientists and physician-scientists in her lab.
